The soild silicone rubber compression overmolding process involves two steps: 

1.Molded plastic part or a metal or other substrate is placed into the silicone tooling cavities before silicone overmolding. 

2.Place the silicone material onto the substrate,then close the tooling,after compression heating and compression,the silicone material will be melting and filling the cavities and overmolding the plastic or metal part to produce the completed component.
